Drift Matsuri is a multi-day drift motorsport festival jam packed with drivers of all skill levels, off-track entertainment and a great, laid back atmosphere at New Zealands premiere circuits.

Following 10 years being actively involved in the sport, Organiser Chris Howard decided it was time to expand on his private events in 2015 and host a 'one off' festival event as a challenge to himself, and with help of some friends, introduce grassroots drifting to the public on a grander scale.

That 'one off event' has since snowballed into one of New Zealand's most popular drift motorsport events to date with hundreds of drivers and thousands of fans attending from across the country, year on year.
