Terms & Conditions

EVENT STUFF

Upon entering an event of any nature in NZ (not only NZ Drift Matsuri) all participants understand that they are entering under certain terms and conditions.

 

Payment

+ Payment is made online via credit/debit card or online banking (seen as 'Poli' in the checkout options.

+ All 'reserved' spots, where applicable, entry cost will be to the current entry fee (not held at a lower price tier).

 

Cancellations

+ Entry transfer If you cannot make it to the event for any reason, it is possible to change the participant information to allow a replacement to attend the event in your place up-to 7 days prior to the event start. For changes, a minimum transfer fee of $50+ applies.

+ Entry cancellation If you cannot make it to the event for any reason, you may be able to cancel your entry. Please note, online booking fees cannot be refunded.

See below options:

+ 6 or more weeks out = 50% refund available at organisers discretion, pending entries.

Please note: For cancellations (of any reason) within four weeks of the event date, all entries are final and no refunds can be given.

+ Switching tickets to different event dates are not permitted.

+ Cancellation needs to be done in writing by e-mail to the organisers. The date of cancellation is determined by the date of the e-mail.

+ In case of insufficient number of entrants, the organiser retains the right to cancel or postpone the event. In this case, we will work with the drivers to provide a partial event credit or refund in the event that we have had to commit to event related deposits, additional financial commitments associated to the event or business operations. Sheds will be 100% refundable.

+ In case of cancellation outside of the organisers control such as, but not limited to sudden circuit closure, date change or government COVID level changes, the organiser retains the right to cancel or postpone the event til a later date. In this case, only 50% of the entrants fee can be refunded (this is due to, but not limited to, additional financial commitments associated to the event and business operations). Sheds can be 100% refunded.

+ Otherwise, for any reason, no cash refunds can be given.

 

Mechanical Failure or Misbehaviour

+ In the event of a mechanical failure within four weeks of the event or occurring at an event, no full or partial refunds can be given as your spot has been reserved. Mechanical failures over four weeks out from an event may be eligible for a 50% credit to the next event only (minus standard $50 transfer fee)

+ In the event of your misbehaviour at an event (includes an additional driver in your car), you will be given two, to three warnings.

+ First warning will be given advising of what you are doing which may be putting other people in harms way.

+ Second warning you will be given a one to two hour stand down.

+ Third warnings will result in a sudden cancellation of your entry or stand down from the remaining days activity (if you have entered the weekend). In the event of a stand down, you will only be given one warning the following day. No refunds will be given due to your own negligence. Depending on what it is, an event ban from Drift Matsuri and/or the associated circuit may apply.

MERCHANDISE

Thank you for supporting NZ Drift Matsuri by purchasing a piece of merchandise at an event or online. Please see below our returns policy.

 

Returns

+ Please select your size carefully, if you have any questions regarding sizing please contact support@thezeroclassco.com

+ Please select your items carefully, as you can not exchange or return items as a "change of mind"

+ If you do have a problem with sizing upon receiving your item, we will offer to send you a replacement in the size needed (where applicable or available). All labels, tags and original packaging must be attached so please keep this while trying on for the first time.

+ Switched items will only be sent once we have received the previously sent items for inspection.

+ Return shipping must be paid for by the purchaser using a tracked service.

+ For any reason, no cash refunds can be given.

+ Purchases at an event are non-refundable.
